About this time last year I ordered your \u201cMary\u201d trilogy. It was really helpful to me in settling my intellectual questions about the Church\u2019s teaching about the Blessed Mother.<\/p>\n
I also asked, somewhat diffidently, if you would pray for my conversion. I knew at the time that Protestantism was bankrupt and that the magisterial teaching of the reformers amounted to \u201csolo\u201d scriptura, but I didn\u2019t know if I would ever be given the gift of faith in Christ through the Church. I feared I might end up drifting, an unhappy disillusioned agnostic, much as my parents did in their later years.<\/p>\n
Happily I can tell you, should have told you already, that your prayers and my prayers (and the prayers of many other people) were answered. I\u2019m now the happiest, most gut-wrenchingly grateful Catholic ever. <\/p>\n
So \u2013 thanks, and my heart-felt prayers for the continued effectiveness of this trilogy.<\/p>\n
