A reader writes:<\/p>\n
Please pray for the newborn son of some good friends of mine. He is in the NICU and probably will be for up to a week longer. He is struggling to absorb oxygen and his lungs keep collapsing. After a surgery to help drain the air around his lungs, it didn\u2019t seem to improve so they keep trying new things. They are putting him on stronger pain meds to make him comfortable and putting in a ventilator just in case he relaxes too much. The doctors seem perplexed as to what the problem is and how to resolve it.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Father, we ask for your healing power to touch this little one and heal him completely in body, soul, and spirit. Grant skill, compassion and wisdom to his caregivers and peace, grace and strength to all who love him. Mother Mary and St. Luke, pray for them all.
