I have a patient who is pregnant in the second trimester and has just been diagnosed with an aggressive hematological cancer. She is under a lot of pressure from staff and family to terminate the pregnancy in spite of the fact that we have found studies suggesting the child could survive treatment without handicap. I can\u2019t go into detail because of confidentiality (so please keep me and my location anon) but she is very ill and the baby is in double peril. Please pray for this little family, all her caregivers, including me, and for all cancer patients and their families.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Father, hear our prayer for mother\u2019s complete recovery and baby\u2019s safe delivery. Give skill and compassion to her caregivers and move the hearts of those close to her to support her in her pregnancy and in her healing. Mother Mary, St. Peregrine and St. Luke, pray for her.
