BEIJING\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (AP) \u2014 The online version of China\u2019s Communist Party newspaper has hailed a report by The Onion naming North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un as the \u201cSexiest Man Alive\u201d \u2013 not realizing it is satire.<\/p>\n

The People\u2019s Daily on Tuesday ran a 55-page photo spread on its website in a tribute to the round-faced leader, under the headline \u201cNorth Korea\u2019s top leader named The Onion\u2019s Sexiest Man Alive for 2012.\u201d<\/p>\n

Quoting The Onion\u2019s spoof report, the Chinese newspaper wrote, `\u2019With his devastatingly handsome, round face, his boyish charm, and his strong, sturdy frame, this Pyongyang-bred heartthrob is every woman\u2019s dream come true.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBlessed with an air of power that masks an unmistakable cute, cuddly side, Kim made this newspaper\u2019s editorial board swoon with his impeccable fashion sense, chic short hairstyle, and, of course, that famous smile,\u201d the People\u2019s Daily cited The Onion as saying.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
