Papal Nuncio to Join Walk for Life West Coast!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Organizers delighted with presence of Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigan\u00f2 at January 26 event<\/em><\/p>\n

January 2, 2013 \u2013 The Walk for Life West Coast is honored to announce that Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigan\u00f2, the Holy Father\u2019s Ambassador to the United States, will be attending the 9th Annual Walk for Life West Coast in San Francisco, on January 26, 2013.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat an honor! We are so excited\u2014this is the next best thing to having the Holy Father himself with us!\u201d said Eva Muntean, a co-founder of the Walk.\u00a0 Archbishop Vigan\u00f2, appointed on October 19, 2011, the Feast of the North American Martyrs, is the 14th<\/sup> Papal representative to the United States. The diplomatic post was established in 1893.<\/p>\n

The 2013 event will begin at 12:30 PM in the city\u2019s Civic Center Plaza. The rally and Walk will be preceded in the plaza by an Info Faire, beginning at 11:00 AM, and a \u201cSilent No More\u201d<\/em> awareness campaign, featuring actress Jennifer O\u2019Neill (www.jenniferoneill.com<\/a>) beginning at 10:45 AM.
