A reader writes:<\/p>\n
My friend\u2019s lungs failed this morning.\u00a0 He is, at best, back to square one.\u00a0 He may be on a bypass machine for a month.\u00a0 His heart is doing okay, but his kidneys took a hard hit last time this happened.\u00a0 Prayers that he recover still needed.<\/p>\n
My other friend\u2019s elderly wolf had a bad morning, but rallied later in the day and is still loving cooked meat and my friend\u2019s company.<\/p>\n
No further word on my third friend\u2019s mother after hearing that the cancer is inoperable and she will go on palliative care.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Father, hear our prayer for healing and care for each of these\u00a0people, that your perfect will may be done in each of their lives.\u00a0 Mother Mary and St. Luke, pray for them, their caregivers and all who love them.\u00a0 We ask this through Christ our Lord.\u00a0 Amen.<\/p>\n

My state recently enacted some very basic abortion restriction laws. The\u00a0abortion industry\u00a0has filed suit to overturn them\u00a0and my office is responsible for defending the laws. It\u2019s the first time in a very long time\u00a0that this state has had an Attorney General who will whole-heartedly defend abortion restrictions, but the odds are very much against us given case law and the political inclinations of the judges here. Please storm heaven with prayers as we prepare to do battle.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Father, hear our prayer for wisdom and justice and guide your servants to do battle with Satan and his\u00a0angels and protect your\u00a0children.\u00a0 Mother Mary and the Holy Innocents, pray for them!<\/p>\n
