Do you love to sing contemporary worship music, but long for your prayer to be deeper and reflect your Catholic faith even more? \u00a0Then get to know new Catholic contemporary recording artist, Jenn Jinks. \u00a0With a degree in vocal performance from NYU\u2019s prestigious arts program, worship leading that ranges from Mass\u00a0on Sunday\u00a0to an audience of 10,000 pilgrims in Lourdes, over fifteen years of work in youth ministry and her own unshakable faith, Jenn is poised to be a new breath of the Spirit in contemporary Catholic music.<\/p>\n
This Raleigh, NC, wife, mom of four, youth minister, vocalist, and songwriter, is gearing up to record and produce her own full-length album of all original worship music and she needs our help. \u00a0She has launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund her project which will help pay for production costs, studio time, album replication, and more.\u00a0Kickstarter is an online platform for modern-day patronage of the arts.\u00a0 Artists set a fundraising goal and then ask for pledges to support their project.\u00a0\u00a0In return, backers receive rewards for their pledges (a copy of the album, a download, etc.)\u00a0 The artist has a limited amount of time to raise the funds (Jenn\u00a0only has until August 18th<\/sup>!<\/em>)\u00a0 Patrons who pledge are only charged if the artist reaches their funding goal. \u00a0An artist does not receive a single penny of the funds if his\/her goal is not met.<\/p>\n
On the project, Jenn says, \u201cI want to be able to deliver an album full of music that reminds people of God\u2019s great love and inspires them to live good lives.\u00a0\u00a0In the dark world we live in, I am hoping to deliver a message of hope and grace.\u00a0\u00a0God has blessed me so richly, I simply cannot keep quiet about it!\u201d<\/p>\n
