I would like to make a prayer request of you and your readers for my daughter. She is twelve years old, and suffers from severe OCD. It is controlled with medication, so that she is at least functional, but her anxieties and impulsivity that follow from her affliction are tearing our family apart. I have prayed for relief for her, and for the wisdom to know how to help her, but we are all at a loss. Some days we are stronger than others, but more often than not, I we are all emotionally exhausted, and all too aware of our impotence in the face of this affliction.<\/p>\n
I love her dearly, but I do not know what to do anymore, but to trust and hope in Our Lord.<\/p>\n
Please, pray for us, that we may accept our cross with patience, and fortitude, and hope, especially the latter which is so sorely tested.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Father, we ask that you would help these parents accept and endure this cross and we ask as well that you would grant miraculous healing to this beautiful daughter of yours in body, soul, mind and spirit.\u00a0 Mother Mary, St. Dymphna, St. Luke, and Fr. Joseph Fulton, pray for this family.\u00a0 We ask all this through Jesus Christ our Lord.\u00a0 Amen.<\/p>\n
