Good things are happening in Wisconsin!<\/span><\/p>\n
We have three world-class<\/span><\/a> Marian<\/span><\/a> shrines<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0 The last one (Our Lady of Good Help) has been given to the care of the Fathers of Mercy, who are nothing short of excellent.<\/p>\n
Fr Donald Hying, one of the finest pr<\/span><\/a>iests I know<\/span><\/a>,\u00a0 now one of the finest bishops I know.\u00a0 Many have prayed for this to happen, and our only fear is that we won\u2019t be able to keep him till retirement.<\/p>\n
Bishop Hying joins a corps of fine, faithful bishops in the Badger State.\u00a0\u00a0 They act like shepherds, not CEOs.\u00a0 I don\u2019t think Wisconsin\u2019s had a better bunch in my lifetime (and I\u2019m nearly 42).<\/p>\n
I don\u2019t think you\u2019ll report this last item, since we all know you hate the Latin Mass.\u00a0 But I\u2019ll try anyway\u2026Beginning August 21, Our Lady Of Mt Carmel in Kenosha<\/span><\/a> will be offering a regular Sunday Mass in the Extraordinary Form.\u00a0 The parish was recently given to the care of this dynamic priestly duo.<\/span><\/a>\u00a0 <\/p>\n
Much of what has happened would have been thought impossible a mere ten years ago.\u00a0 I thank God I\u2019ve seen these things come to pass.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
