Turns out he didn\u2019t have any drugs<\/a>. But they did log some valuable target practice.<\/p>\n

He no doubt had it coming for having an \u201caggressive posture<\/a>\u201c, like the 86 year old bed-ridden woman who got repeatedly tased and her air hose cut off by cops who then arrested her grandson for defending her from the jackboots who invaded their home.<\/p>\n

Likewise, the unarmed women (one of them 71 years old) who had the temerity to deliver newspapers in a truck that vaguely resembled a truck driven by a bad guy were way the hell out of line expecting such legal fussbudgetry as a \u201cwarning\u201d from the LAPD cops who riddle their car with over a hundred bullet and shot the wicked old lady in the back<\/a>:<\/p>\n

While guarding a high-ranking officer they feared was on Dorner\u2019s hit list, the officers happened upon two women who were delivering newspapers in a blue Toyota Tacoma pickup truck. The officers apparently mistook the truck for Dorner\u2019s, even though he drove a charcoal Nissan Titan pickup truck.<\/p>\n

With no warning, the eight officers unleashed a hail of bullets, firing 103 times at the truck carrying Margie Carranza<\/strong> and her 71-year-old mother Emma Hernandez<\/strong>. Carranza, then 47, was cut by flying glass, her mother was shot in the back. Miraculously, both women survived. <\/ins><\/ins><\/ins><\/p>\n

None of officers will be fired, or even suspended for failing to identify themselves as police or to ensure the car was indeed Dorner\u2019s before opening fire. They will only be required to take a little more training.<\/p>\n

The Commission<\/a>, after its investigation earlier this month, stated the officers were not at serious fault, even though they violated the Los Angeles Police Department\u2019s policy.<\/p>\n

Chief Charlie Beck<\/strong> insisted that this shooting was simply the result of \u201ca tragic cascade of circumstances that led to an inaccurate conclusion by the officers.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
