When addressing the right\u00a0about any social, political, environmental, or financial problem you want to address, just link it to Teh Terrorists[TM]:<\/p>\n

Note: \u00a0Be careful how you phrase the appeal. \u00a0Don\u2019t say things like \u201cGlobal Warming Helped Create \u00a0ISIS<\/a>\u201d because, you know, there\u2019s an Eyeroll Factor involved in such a claim and the subtext is not \u201cTerror! \u00a0Everybody Panic and get on board with the latest civilizational push to stop it!\u201d but \u201cYou right wingers created ISIS\u201d. \u00a0The Party of Personal Responsibility does not like to take responsibility for things it actually is<\/em> responsible for (such as a war of choice that left Iraq extremely vulnerable to ISIS), much less dubious claims of responsibility for climate-caused radical Islamic nutjobs that sound like (and are) low demagoguery. \u00a0What you want is not to force righties to feel guilty, but to make them feel like heroes for standing tall against Teh Terrorist while doing your bidding.<\/p>\n

Righties: \u00a0You might consider the same strategy in reverse. \u00a0Lefties respond strongly to \u201cgreen\u201d rhetoric. \u00a0Not dumping thousands of tons of contraceptives and abortifacients into the water supply is as green as it gets. \u00a0Enlist the left on the side of life as the \u201cnatural\u201d choice and you may get a listen. \u00a0Start the discussion with suggestions that post-abortive women need to be hanged and odds are you won\u2019t.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
