On NBC\u2019s \u201cMeet the Press,\u201d Cheney said he would use the questionable interrogation methods \u201cagain in a minute.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n

Host Chuck Todd asked Cheney to respond to the Senate Intelligence Committee report\u2019s account that one detainee was \u201cchained to the wall of a cell, doused with water, froze to death in CIA custody.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd it turned out it was a case of mistaken identity,\u201d Todd said.<\/p>\n

\u201cRight,\u201d Cheney responded. \u201cBut the problem I have was with all of the folks that we did release that end up back on the battlefield.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m more concerned with bad guys who got out and released than I am with a few that in fact were innocent,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

Todd pressed Cheney, asking if he was okay with the fact that about 25 percent of the detainees interrogated were actually innocent.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have no problem as long as we achieve our objective. And our objective is to get the guys who did 9\/11 and it is to avoid another attack against the United States,\u201d Cheney responded.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
