This next month I need to write three essays, teach a four hour seminar on the Creed to catechist wannabes for the Archdiocese of Seattle, transport Julian Ahlquist around Seattle, meet with Kevin O\u2019Brien and son, have a birthday, run around delivering books and supplies to the American Chesterton Society Conference<\/a>, go teach a two hour class at Seattle University, squeeze in lunch with Dale Ahlquist, attend the American Chesterton Society Conference, endure watching myself acting like a fool in front of God and everybody during the preview of \u201cManalive\u201d at said conference, give a talk at said conference, attend the dinner afterward and say something witty yet thoughtful, catch my breath on Sunday, leave for EWTN at 6 AM Monday, do The Journey Home <\/a>live on Monday night, tape \u201cBookmarks\u201d on Tuesday morning, jet home, plow through mail, post some stuff, write more essays, get started on editing a book project, go to the Wife\u2019s Family\u2019s Big Beach Party, celebrate the Assumption, squeeze in some more editing, welcome our first grand-daughter whenever she decides to make her debut, fly off to Sacramento, give a talk, come home, edit for a few more day, and finally grab four days of vacation over Labor Day weekend (my vacations are almost never longer than four days).<\/p>\n So: I\u2019ll be busy, especially during this insane week.
