A reader writes:<\/p>\n

I\u2019d like to request prayers on behalf of a little girl and her family whom I met at our clinic today. she was following up with one of our hand surgeons after being seen at Harborview; she was out riding her bike on Lopez Island with her family (mother, father, younger sister) when an unlicensed teenaged driver struck her and a jogger at high speed. The jogger died instantly, and she is going to be having her second surgery this week. The family is undergoing a lot of post-traumatic stress; you can also read about the man who died in this article<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Prayers needed all around: the little girl and her family; the soul of the jogger who died and peace for his family and friends; and especially the poor stupid kid behind the wheel \u2013 I can\u2019t even imagine how this is going to impact the rest of his life.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Father, hear our prayers for healing for the victims and forgiveness for the driver in this tragedy through Christ our Lord. Mother Mary, pray for all concerned. St. Luke pray for all involved in the treatment of the wounds, physical, emotional and spiritual. Amen.<\/p>\n
