This would accomplish two things. First, it would fill James with the drug he craves most dearly: the sense that he is the Intellectual Superior of all Mortal Flesh. Two: it would be funny as hell to watch AOMinions all agree with one another like Politburo members that \u201cRoman Catholic apologists\u201d were clearly not up to the task of coping with White\u2019s reviews of books he doesn\u2019t deign to read.<\/p>\n By the way, did you know there is really and truly a site called AOMinions<\/a>? Me neither.<\/p>\n You know my problem? I\u2019ve been entirely too lenient with you, my slavish orcs. When was the last time *you* patrolled the web, seeking any suggestion that your Beloved Master is capable of error and then hasting to crush it like a young scorpion with blustery pre-emptive defenses of some ignorant pronouncement of mine (not that I\u2019m actually capable of ignorance, of course)? You should hang your head in *shame*, the lot of you. James White has minions who do that sort of thing for him all the time, while all I have is your lickspittle assurances of your cringing adulation. .If you *really* cared, you\u2019d be running around the web, filling up comboxes with threads <\/a>that argue stuff like \u201cJust because Mark hasn\u2019t read your book doesn\u2019t mean he can\u2019t refute it. It was written by That Guy. What else do you need to know? And I don\u2019t need to read it either, because Mark told me what to think about it. Mark\u2019s read (and refuted, without any errors whatsoever) a lot of other books so he doesn\u2019t need to read this one before refuting it.\u201d You\u2019d *never* acknowledge so much as the possibility, much less the fact, that I had ever ever *ever* been wrong about anything ever. And you\u2019d be pro-active about it. And do it in packs. And then you\u2019d high five each other about your mutual brilliance and bask in the reflected glory of Me, your unquestioned Master.<\/p>\n There! Now you\u2019ve done it. My Eye is tearing up!
