I thought I\u2019d refrain from joining in the Automatic GOP Leadership\/Talk Radio-Fabricated Mass Panic about Sotomayor <\/a>until I actually knew a little bit more from people who are, you know, lawyers (and whose judgement I trust).<\/p>\n Now that Feddie <\/a>and Dale Price <\/a>have weighed in, I\u2019m glad I haven\u2019t wasted my time panicking. \u201cBest of the worst\u201d sounds about right. Pretty much what I expected, but not the monstrous vision of a crazed racist being conjured in some of the wingnut fever swamps of the Right.
