I am a first-year seminarian and due to a late in the year application, am having some difficulty pulling together sufficient funds to pay the tuition of my last semester of college before a Bachelor\u2019s degree elevates me to the status of a pre-theologian. Several friends (and complete strangers!) have responded generously with prayers and filthy lucre to help me follow the call, but more is needed. Could you ask your readers to pray to St. Therese of Lisieux that all barriers, spiritual and temporal, to me following God\u2019s will might be overcome?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Father, hear our prayer that all this man\u2019s spiritual and financial needs be met so that he can fulfil his vocation according to your will. Mother Mary and St. Therese, pray for him! We ask this through Christ our Lord! Amen!<\/p>\n

A friend of mine who just joined the Church this year after years of wandering in Eastern spirituality\/superstition\/sorcery is having strong doubts about her new faith and often talks about abandoning the Church. She has a great devotion to Mary, but due to bad (very bad) experiences with men in \u201cguru\u201d positions, has a visceral hatred of priests. Please ask your readers to pray fervently for her to Our Blessed Lady<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Father, hear our prayer for this woman, that she be granted the grace to discern the difference between her old gurus and your priests and respond to them with right judgment and not according to her old perceptions and habits. Help her to remain close to you and Our Lady and learn the habits of prudence and justice. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Mother Mary, Seat of Wisdom, pray for her.<\/p>\n

This afternoon I met a young man, David. He has a degenerative eye disease. Has about 20% normal sight. Docs predict that he will be totally blind in 10-15 years. Pray for David.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Father, heal this man\u2019s eyes. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen. Mother Mary and St. Lucy, pray for him.<\/p>\n
