It\u2019s nice to be able to, say, take off on Friday and go to our Hidden Island Redoubt somewhere in the San Juans for our annual Memorial Day Fun. But on the other hand, it\u2019s typically a ten-twelve hour day. The idea of racking up some giant debt so I could have a posh house and a plasma TV is\u2026 insane. We strive very hard to live within our means, precisely because I would never want to face what the poor guy she links faces. Such timidity probably points to a defect in my character: a lack of courage to take chances. But there it is.<\/p>\n
