The difference in the distinction between life saving information and information leading to a conviction is proportionality, which is inherent in whether an act can be said to be \u201cviolence\u201d (cf CCC2297).<\/em><\/p>\n

What is required for Fr. Harrison\u2019s argument to hold is that the two distinct intentions of saving lives and getting a conviction lead to two distinct motives for using physical or moral violence, making it possible for the human will to choose two distinct objects, one of which is by its nature not capable of being ordered to the good and one of which is<\/strong>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

If we pull off this breakthrough in moral evolution, it will finally be possible for us to worship God and Mammon!<\/p>\n
