You don\u2019t have to tell bald-faced lies about how this is perfectly compatible with Church teaching since Fr. Brian Harrison has cooked up an exemption to John Paul\u2019s \u201cintrinsically immoral\u201d description in Veritatis Splendor 80. You don\u2019t have to dilate on this lie by saying \u201cAs long as you are torturing people for information, it\u2019s okay\u201d and then say \u201cAnd besides, the son of a bitch KSM had it coming, so torture him some more! And don\u2019t forget: the people who ordered the torture assure us we got valuable intel from it. And have they ever lied?\u201d You don\u2019t have to live in a country where people have to write evil nonsense like \u201cWaterboarding is something of which every American should be proud\u201d<\/a> in order to run interference for what normal people used to call war crimes.<\/p>\n Someday, after the Lord has returned, we will look back on this time and recall that the insane left chanted \u201cAbortion is a blessing and our work is not done\u201d while the insane right chanted, \u201cWaterboarding is something of which every American should be proud.\u201d Both of them, by such words, spit on the elementary Catholic teaching \u201cYou shall not do evil that good may come of it.\u201d As Paul says, \u201cTheir condemnation is deserved.\u201d<\/p>\n Thanks be to God, their condemnation has been borne by Jesus Christ, whom Herod would have murdered in infancy like the Left, and who was tortured to death by the Machiavellians of his time who, like so many on the Right today, say \u201cLet us do evil, that good may come of it.\u201d<\/p>\n
