INDIANAPOLIS | Overturning a common law dating back to the English Magna Carta of 1215, the Indiana Supreme Court ruled Thursday that Hoosiers have no right to resist unlawful police entry into their homes.<\/p>\n
In a 3-2 decision, Justice Steven David writing for the court said if a police officer wants to enter a home for any reason or no reason at all, a homeowner cannot do anything to block the officer\u2019s entry.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
There are, increasingly, two kinds of Americans: sheep who will bend over and endure this from the State everytime somebody shouts \u201c9\/11!\u201d, or people with their wits about them who recognize that this poses a vastly greater danger to Americans than the terrorist bogeyman trotted out to justify such grotesque usurpations of power. I say, \u201cTo hell with this decision.\u201d If by some dark miracle the SCOTUS lets this stand, then we are no longer a free people but are living in a police state.<\/p>\n
