Most high, all powerful, all good Lord!
\nAll praise is yours, all glory, all honor, and all blessing.<\/p>\n
To you, alone, Most High, do they belong.
\nNo mortal lips are worthy to pronounce your name.<\/p>\n
Be praised, my Lord, through all your creatures,
\nespecially through my lord Brother Sun,
\nwho brings the day; and you give light through him.
\nAnd he is beautiful and radiant in all his splendor!
\nOf you, Most High, he bears the likeness.<\/p>\n
Be praised, my Lord, through Sister Moon and the stars;
\nin the heavens you have made them bright, precious and beautiful.<\/p>\n
Be praised, my Lord, through Brothers Wind and Air,
\nand clouds and storms, and all the weather,
\nthrough which you give your creatures sustenance.<\/p>\n
Be praised, My Lord, through Sister Water;
\nshe is very useful, and humble, and precious, and pure.<\/p>\n
Be praised, my Lord, through Brother Fire,
\nthrough whom you brighten the night.
\nHe is beautiful and cheerful, and powerful and strong.<\/p>\n
Be praised, my Lord, through our sister Mother Earth,
\nwho feeds us and rules us,
\nand produces various fruits with colored flowers and herbs.<\/p>\n
Be praised, my Lord, through those who forgive for love of you;
\nthrough those who endure sickness and trial.<\/p>\n
Happy those who endure in peace,
\nfor by you, Most High, they will be crowned.<\/p>\n
Be praised, my Lord, through our Sister Bodily Death,
\nfrom whose embrace no living person can escape.
\nWoe to those who die in mortal sin!
\nHappy those she finds doing your most holy will.
\nThe second death can do no harm to them.<\/p>\n
Praise and bless my Lord, and give thanks,
