Rebecca and Sharb Dussault are childhood friends expecting their fifth child. \u00a0Rebecca is a former Olympian and an advisory member of Catholic Athletes for Christ. \u00a0My wife and I were talking last night about the old adage that God only gives you what you can handle. \u00a0If there is anyone who can handle adversity, like a baby still in the womb who faces three heart surgeries in his or her first three years, and is now a good candidate for surgery in utero, it is the Dussault family.<\/p>\n

When Sharb\u2019s younger brothers were born over two decades ago, the doctors told her parents to take them home and love them, as they would make it days, or weeks at best. \u00a0I saw Croix at Mass the other day. \u00a0His twin, Charatin, was wheelchair bound his entire life and passed away only a couple of years ago. \u00a0They are the most prayerful people I know and there\u2019s no family I\u2019ve ever been around who walk the talk of the Catholic family. \u00a0(Actually, Sharb\u2019s sister, Chantal Howard wrote a book on the Family\u2026they\u2019re all amazing).<\/p>\n
