A reader writes:<\/p>\n

I would like to ask for prayers for Evelyn, a great lady, and a good Catholic, in her mid to late-80\u2019s who has been leading our small writing workshop for the last couple of years. She has 4th stage cancer, that has now spread through most of her body. She appears quite serene, and is still getting around some, with the help of her daughters. We are having a Mass said for her intentions on Thursday, May 28th, at 9 a.m. (EST), and she\u00a0 might even be attending. Would some of your readers who might happen to go to Mass on that day please join their prayers to ours? Thank you.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Father, hear our prayer for Evelyn\u2019s complete healing in body, soul, and spirit or for the grace of a happy death. \u00a0Give her caregivers grace, compassion, wisdom, counsel, knowledge, understanding, skill, and the proper technology and give her and all who love her grace, peace, consolation, strength, faith, hope, and love. \u00a0Mother Mary, St. Luke, and St. Peregrine, pray for her. \u00a0We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord.
