We are all Seattleites <\/a>now.<\/p>\n

If you think that Americans should go on being conventionally and culturally \u201cChristian\u201d while cannibalizing the Faith in order to buttress their *real* political and cultural agendas that are often the polar opposites of the Faith,<\/a> then you will see the poll as a disaster.<\/p>\n

If you think that it\u2019s better that people be honest and that any step toward truth is, in the long run, a step toward God, you won\u2019t be super upset. This is just a clarifying moment in which people who remain on a search for God are stating clearly that they have not yet found what they are looking for in our current\u2013frequently phony as a 3 dollar bill\u2013American culture.<\/p>\n

The real point of the poll is that it constitutes an urgent call to Catholics to learn how to how live as Intentional Disciples<\/a>, embracing the whole of Catholic teaching and not taking a red and gold pen to it <\/a>in order to blow off the party we don\u2019t like.<\/p>\n

The world is waiting\u2013has always been waiting\u2013for non-revisionist Catholics who\u00a0live the fullness of the Faith. The fields are still white for harvest.<\/p>\n

Working together with him, then, we entreat you not to accept the grace of God in vain. For he says,
\n\u201cAt the acceptable time I have listened to you,
\nand helped you on the day of salvation.\u201d
