Priests for Life Supporter,<\/p>\n
Late Wednesday afternoon the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit granted our motion to \u201cstay\u201d the HHS mandate.<\/p>\n
This is a huge victory \u2013 even though it\u2019s only a temporary one<\/b><\/em>.<\/p>\n What this means is that the injunction that is currently protecting Priests for Life from having to abide by the HHS mandate that seeks to force us to comply with the government\u2019s expansion of abortion remains in place until the Supreme Court issues a ruling on our lawsuit.<\/p>\n Without the stay, Priests for Life would have been in the position of being fined for failing to comply with the HHS mandate.<\/p>\n Of course, we wouldn\u2019t have obeyed the mandate no matter what the Appeals Court had ruled.
