I\u2019ve delayed writing this, and I know you must be busy up in Scotland, but I hope you will have time to ask your readers for prayers for me. You probably remember my broken arm from last February. Well, though they took the brace off, it still isn\u2019t healed, even after all these months. Thursday I am going under the knife and having a plate put on the bone to hold it together. Though I\u2019m about the same age as you, this the first operation of my life, and I am frankly terrified. Please ask God to give my surgeon skill and me calm and courage, and above all that my arm be be healed so I can actually use it.<\/p>\n
So sorry to hear about Fr. Shane, and I\u2019m in turn praying for you.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
