It being fall and all and it being Columbus and\/or Indigenous Peoples Day and all, me and the missus have decided it would be a glorious day for a Grand Tour of the Cascade Mountains.<\/p>\n

Accordingly, we are up at O Dark Thirty and out the door to see Arlington, the site of the Great Oso Mudslide, Darrington, the North Cascades Highway, the Methow Valley (featuring Winthop and Twisp), Wenatchee, and then Snoqualmie Pass, Seattle, and home.<\/p>\n

All of this nature and sightseeing and stuff will take us about 8 hours, meaning today will be a \u201cBest of\u201d show and I will be incommunicado.<\/p>\n
