From the Weekly Standard:<\/strong><\/p>\n

SESSIONS<\/strong>: This was very improper language, and (Trump has) acknowledged that.<\/em><\/p>\n

TWS<\/strong>: But beyond the language, would you characterize the behavior described in that (video) as sexual assault if that behavior actually took place?<\/em><\/p>\n

SESSIONS<\/strong>: I don\u2019t characterize that as sexual assault. I think that\u2019s a stretch. I don\u2019t know what he meant\u2014<\/em><\/p>\n

TWS<\/strong>: So if you grab a woman by the genitals, that\u2019s not sexual assault?<\/em><\/p>\n

SESSIONS<\/strong>: I don\u2019t know. It\u2019s not clear that he\u2014how that would occur.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

and<\/p>\n

\u201cThis thing is overblown. Everybody knows that Trump likes women,\u201d Sessions said. \u201cThis is not a disqualifying event.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Remember that, ladies: \u00a0Sexual assault is not a disqualifying event. \u00a0All that stuff conservatives said back in the 90s was a huge lie.<\/p>\n

Me: \u00a0I still think it\u2019s disqualifying. \u00a0But then the Trump Right\u00a0has made clear that Trump really could shoot people in the middle of\u00a0Fifth Avenue and they would still vote for him.<\/p>\n

George Will is absolutely correct<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Trump is a marvelously efficient acid bath, stripping away his supporters\u2019 surfaces, exposing their skeletal essences. Consider Mike Pence, a favorite of what Republicans devoutly praise as America\u2019s \u201cfaith community.\u201d Some of its representatives, their crucifixes glittering in the television lights, are still earnestly explaining the urgency of giving to Trump, who agreed that his daughter is \u201ca piece of ass,\u201d the task of improving America\u2019s coarsened culture.<\/p>\n

Because Pence looks relatively presidential when standing next to Trump \u2014 talk about defining adequacy down \u2014 some Republicans want Trump to slink away, allowing Pence to float to the top of the ticket and represent Republicanism resurrected. This idea ignores a pertinent point: Pence is standing next to Trump.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

People who have bent over for Trump and signed their pathetic letters of endorsement and commitments of support keep shrieking about the harm Hillary will do to the Church.<\/p>\n

The \u201cfaithful conservative prolife\u201d Christians\u2013Catholic, Protestant, and Orthodox\u2013who have prostituted themselves to defend to the last gasp a pro-abort, draft-dodging, lying sex predator have done more to\u00a0harm the Church then a thousand Hillary Clintons. \u00a0And should persecution come, the response of many, who might have been saved had they encountered the gospel and not the filthy politicized freak show of Christian conservatism, will be not \u201cSurely, this was a righteous man!\u201d but \u201cGood riddance to bad rubbish.\u201d<\/p>\n
