Prudence is seeing clearly what is so and acting justly, with temperance and fortitude in light of reality. Reality is: Trump won and we are called to respond with faith, hope, and charity to the new normal. Doesn\u2019t mean acquiescing to evil acts (indeed, should they come, it will be our duty as Christian citizens to resist them). But so far, he has been gracious and magnanimous in victory and it is incumbent on us to respond in kind and outdo him in magnanimity in loss. The common good is more important:<\/p>\n
