Brother Philip was one of two seminarians who served my morning Mass in St Peter\u2019s in Rome on the 15 October, 2011. He was a diocesan seminarian (just started theology in Rome) then, before he was \u201cbitten\u201d by the Dominicans. A really gentle lad, some said too good for the rough and tumble of diocesan life. We all shared breakfast after and he walked me back to the Irish College via Caelian Hill passing the place where St Paul of the Cross is buried and venerated.
