Outrage Porn and the Christian Reader<\/a><\/p>\nBloggers are trained to blog the extreme because that means more views which means more money. The fake hype and self-righteousness gets old fast (especially if you see a lot of it). Being a blogger and working with women\u2019s forums, I\u2019ve gotten to the point that whenever I come across some \u201cDoctors are Devils\u201d type article, some \u201cMilk Will Kill You\u201d headline, all I see anymore is thinly veiled Jerry Springers, Geraldos and Ricky Lakes \u2014 which doesn\u2019t necessarily bother me (this side of Glory and all that), but what does sadden me is to see Christians sharing, endorsing and spreading that kind of trash.<\/p>\n
