Next time you are hurt by someone\u2019s unkind words, next time you feel judged, next time you see someone elses\u2019 sin \u2014 instead of trying to put up a wall, instead of pointing your finger, instead of laughing (it off maybe?), instead of getting ruffled or offended or discouraged, try to think of a way you can bless that person.<\/p>\n
Maybe it\u2019s an immodestly dressed woman, maybe it is a homosexual, maybe it is the homeless guy screaming obscenities at you and your kids at the park,\u00a0maybe it is a harried mom who can\u2019t get her kids to behave at the grocery store \u2014 remember that you are a Christian. We worship the God who created love. The same God who sent His beloved Son to serve and save the worst of the worst (that\u2019s us, you know). If we are going to call ourselves Christians, we need to start acting more like Christ.<\/p>\n
Seek to love. Seek to serve. Seek to speak the truth with every ounce of your soul. Spoken truth isn\u2019t nearly as effective as living truth.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
