I loved this prayer from our worship service this past Sunday. Wanted to share it with you. I can\u2019t find its source. (I\u2019m guessing from a Presbyterian prayer book?)<\/em><\/p>\n

O promised Christ:
\nWe are a world at war.
\nOur peace depends on your coming.
\nWe are a sinful people.
\nOur pardon depends on your coming.
\nWe are full of good intentions but weak at keeping promises;
\nour only hope of doing God\u2019s will is that you should come and help us do it.
\nLord Christ, Word made flesh,
\nour world waits for your peace, for your pardon, and for your grace.
\nEven so: Come, Lord Jesus. Amen.<\/p>\n
