Twitter and tweeting is all the rage nowadays.\u00a0 I am not sure that I understand it, the mechanics of it.\u00a0 And I suspect that it might have something to do with our collective A.D.D.\u00a0 But I thought that I would try it out.\u00a0 I, of course do not have the technical ability to set one up yet.\u00a0 I shall have to ask my children to teach me, if indeed, they are not too old.\u00a0 But in the meantime, I thought this month that I would throw a few out there in this format.<\/span><\/p>\n

So please assume that we are twitter friends (does this make us \u2018twits\u2019?).
\nHere are a few tweets.<\/p>\n

The Oil Spill:<\/strong> I am beginning to feel sorry for BP in the same way I feel sorry for Wiley Coyote as he opens another package from the Acme company.<\/p>\n

The Israeli commando raid on the flotilla: <\/strong><\/p>\n

1) The raid was a caricature of\u00a0 the bold and brilliant raids of the past, when Israel demonstrated dazzling tactics, extraordinary restraint and, oh yes, success.<\/p>\n

2)\u00a0 To all those clamoring to condemn Israel, where was your condemnation at Hamas for its attacks on Israel, its murder of its own citizens and its siphoning of humanitarian funds toward weaponry?<\/p>\n

3) It is believed that the flotilla carried 10,000 lbs of aid, less than Israel delivers to Gaza every week.<\/p>\n

Spirituality:<\/strong> Talking about spirituality does not make it happen.\u00a0 Doing it makes it happen.<\/p>\n

Religion: <\/strong>Religion is but a tool for seeking spirituality.\u00a0 But it does no good sitting in the toolbox.<\/p>\n

Study: <\/strong>Learning is like climbing a down Escalator.\u00a0 As long as we keep learning we progress.\u00a0 When we stop, we don\u2019t simply stay in the same place, we regress.<\/p>\n

Bar\/t Mitzvah: <\/strong>It\u2019s not the beginning of the end, it\u2019s the end of the beginning.<\/p>\n

Talking to G:<\/strong> I once said to Reb Zalman:\u00a0 \u201cFrom your mouth to G\u2019s ears!\u201d\u00a0 With a wistful twinkle in his eye he replied:\u00a0 \u201cI wish it was the other way around!\u201d<\/p>\n

Atheism: <\/strong>I don\u2019t believe in Atheists.\u00a0 I have never seen any empirical evidence that they exist, only anecdotal.<\/p>\n

Names of the Books of the Torah:<\/strong> With a little latitude we could translate the names of the books of Torah as: \u201cBy means of a beginning, the names were called into being.\u201d<\/p>\n

Thinking outside the Box:<\/strong> No sane person thinks outside the box. It\u2019s just that the wise have a bigger box.<\/p>\n

Holidays: <\/strong>There are no Jewish Holidays, we have Holy Days and when done well they become Wholly days.<\/p>\n
