I\u2019m not gonna say that I\u2019m a Wes Craven film buff. I\u2019ve only seen\u00a0Wes Craven\u2019s New Nightmare<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Scream <\/em>a\u00a0<\/em>few times. But I still feel gutted like a fish right now because of the impact he made in the horror genre. Not only did he create a great series of slasher films with\u00a0Nightmare on Elm Street<\/em> but later deconstructed them with the\u00a0Scream\u00a0<\/em>series. And to hear now that this wonderful director died of brain cancer is just heartbreaking considering that the\u00a0Nightmare on Elm Street<\/em> series revolved around the horrors that take place in the mind.<\/p>\n

The reason I\u2019m writing this is for my friends who are the bigger Wes Craven fans. I can\u2019t imagine the pain that you feel.<\/p>\n
