As anyone vaguely familiar with this blog is aware of, I am fascinated with religions. Love most all of \u2019em. And I particularly adore the minority faiths. Well, many of them.<\/p>\n

So, here we go. Another moment to celebrate Jamaica\u2019s gift to the world. \u2018Tis the Emperor Haile Selassie\u2019s birthday. He was born one hundred and twenty-four years ago. While not the founder, in fact he remained a Monophysite Orthodox Christian<\/a> to the end, best anyone knows. And, I would add, another religion high on my really like list. That acknowledged, he is the personality at the center of Rastafarian devotions. Jah! Rastafari<\/a><\/p>\n

Among the great gifts to the world from the Rasti community is music.<\/p>\n

For instance, a song from the master.<\/p>\n
