<\/a>Actually, what I deleted were my Google ads.<\/p>\n
I\u2019m completely comfortable with advertising. I have no brief against Google.<\/p>\n
However, the way they target advertising based upon content in my blog has them repeatedly posting advertising from people and organizations with which I find myself very uncomfortable being associated. For instance there have been almost continuous advertisements for a \u201cZen\u201d teacher who appears to have made up her title. Might be a great spiritual teacher, I wouldn\u2019t know. But by any reasonable construction of the technical term \u201cZen teacher,\u201d she ain\u2019t one.<\/p>\n
I like irony as much as the next person. But sometimes, ya just gotta take a stand.<\/p>\n
When I can figure out how to block advertising I find distasteful I will re-enter the marketplace.<\/p>\n
The Amazon ads refer to my own books or books I\u2019ve recommended. So, you will continue to have opportunities to spend money from this blog\u2026<\/p>\n
