\nOn the Zen way when we encounter disruptions of the natural, when the strange, weird, miraculous happen, we\u2019re warned.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t worry, it will pass.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t cling. Don\u2019t make it into a religion.<\/p>\n

You meet the Buddha on the road\u2026<\/p>\n

I would expand on this just a bit\u2026<\/p>\n

On the great way, of course, we\u2019re going to find reality distorted. What we think is normal, isn\u2019t. Or, rather, is a very small part of a very big picture.<\/p>\n

We sit and things happen. Mountains dance. Trees sing.<\/p>\n

The strange become familiar.<\/p>\n

God dictates wonders and terrors.<\/p>\n

Angels dance.<\/p>\n

Holy writ is found scrawled on leaves.<\/p>\n

of course.<\/p>\n

Of course.<\/p>\n

And. So. Don\u2019t despise your mind. Your heart. <\/p>\n

Encounter it full.<\/p>\n

Just don\u2019t cling to one moment and reject another<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t preference the disruption <\/p>\n

over the ordinary.<\/p>\n

Do this and you\u2019re handed the keys<\/p>\n

And can open the door<\/p>\n

And find <\/p>\n

and open the book of life and death<\/p>\n

And read the language of God\u2026<\/p>\n
