It was a real treat to be able to have a long weekend away.<\/p>\n

Jan, auntie & me in the Big Apple.<\/p>\n

Holidays are something that many people don\u2019t get. It requires the confluence of a number of things, some important ones beyond anyone\u2019s actual control. (If you have money and think you \u201cearned\u201d it, you may have worked hard, but nonetheless, you\u2019re fooling yourself. No one deserves the good things, or more correctly everyone does, but only some get \u2019em\u2026) Me, I never had a vacation until my early forties. And I haven\u2019t forgotten\u2026<\/p>\n

So, I don\u2019t take \u2019em for granted.<\/p>\n

I am grateful.<\/p>\n

And happy.<\/p>\n

And, and, I\u2019m glad to be home.<\/p>\n

Really glad.<\/p>\n
