Every once in a while something happens that confuses and heartens at the same time.
\n\"\"<\/a>
\nI was surprised to learn that Exodus International apologized<\/a> to the GBLTQ community.<\/p>\n

And, then, now, has shut down<\/a>\u2026<\/p>\n

Their attempt to \u201ccure\u201d gay and lesbian people was predicated upon a long discredited psychological model that homosexuality was a disease to be cured. After inflicting terrible things upon many people for something near forty years, they noticed.<\/p>\n

It is a miracle when people notice.<\/p>\n

And, it is double blessing, when out of that noticing, they, one, we, take corrective actions.<\/p>\n

While there are consequences to their past behaviors that will continue to have negative effect for years to come, and this cannot be forgotten, there is something profound and lovely in that change of heart and that change of behaviors.<\/p>\n

And, it too, should be noticed\u2026<\/p>\n
