We would have to agree with the general tone of the critics that the paring of the two stories created an unfair comparison between an archetype and a kid, inviting beyond that unfair comparisons between one of the great actresses of our time and someone just finding her way into the trade.<\/p>\n<p>But, you know, that said, we really liked it. And I personally recommend it\u2026<\/p>\n<p>The lesser story was interesting, and well done. And Child\u2019s story! Well, I think it is common knowledge without her Americans would be <span class=\"blsp-spelling-corrected\">squatting<\/span> in caves eating half cooked <span class=\"blsp-spelling-corrected\">mastodon<\/span> bones\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Or worse\u2026<\/p>\n<p>And now I\u2019ve just learned that this is the anniversary of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.massmoments.org\/moment.cfm?mid=241\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Julia Child\u2019s kitchen<\/a> going to the Smithsonian.<\/p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Julia Child&#039;s Kitchen\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/f0CUmqnNTd8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<div class=\"blogger-post-footer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/blogger.googleusercontent.com\/tracker\/33904114-2039634332615137922?l=monkeymindonline.blogspot.com\" alt=\"\"><\/div>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The other day Jan, auntie and I saw Julie and Julia.
