The light beneath sleep<\/h2>\n

Sometimes, underneath deep sleep<\/span>
is a certain diffused glow,<\/span>
as, in the rainforest, luminous toadstools<\/span>
glow green among the leaf litter<\/span>
and <\/span>beetles crawl about with winking abdomens.<\/span>
One night when I followed this glow <\/span>
I came to an upturned tree <\/span>
that was a kind of cathedral for glowworms <\/span>
and the light beat against my face, my chest and my hands. <\/span>
At the end of the corridor of sleep, a dream stands. <\/span>
It may be that at the end of the corridor of death <\/span>
there is the walking slightly uphill <\/span>
through the green fields;
<\/span> and then the light underneath sleep <\/span>
is both in front and behind. <\/span><\/p>\n
