Listening to these women recite their poetry, I am reminded of the many issues we face as women both nationally and internationally; culturally; religiously; politically; etc.\u00a0 Not to say that men don\u2019t face these issues as well \u2013 many times directly related to those we consider oppressive to women \u2013 since one of my core beliefs deals with the concept that any sexism infiltrating our humanity will harm both genders irrevocably.\u00a0 I\u2019m sure that some of these poems will not resonate with all of you.\u00a0 Some of the language may offend.\u00a0 Some may inspire.\u00a0 I\u2019m curious to read comments on your reactions and thoughts.\u00a0 Not only about what you disagree with \u2013\u00a0 but also the things that resonate \u2013 the things that you might feel relate to you or offend you due to your Mormonism<\/a>, your ethnicity, your family of origin, your personality, your gender, your sense of self, etc.\u00a0 I would very much enjoy reading your reactions\u2026\n
