This is thanks to the efforts of many who bring concerns to the table on a regular basis without acknowledgment\u2026 and instead often face ostracism and discipline.<\/p>\n

Also it\u2019s unfortunate that these types of changes aren\u2019t announced from the pulpits; that these changes are done in quiet ways\u2026 (not sure why\u2026 maybe to avoid embarrassment or accountability\u2026). It does nothing to engage the culture\u2026 the people\u2026 and pretty much guarantees that actual change will be slow coming, if at all.<\/p>\n

We could move to much healthier spaces if these things were addressed openly\u2026 and if training\/resources would be consistently available to congregants and leaders.<\/p>\n
