Bipolar<\/p>\n
Every emotion so strong
\nFeeling everything and every moment
\nUps and downs and in betweens
\nColoring my world<\/p>\n
Joy and heartbreak
\nEnergized and drained
\nPassion and apathy
\nNever knowing what the day will bring<\/p>\n
Days, weeks, months in tears
\nThen fine
\nDriving others away
\nNo, pay attention to me<\/p>\n
Sex drive up
\nSex drive gone
\nAngry at everything
\nI want to scream<\/p>\n
Depression swallowing me whole
\nMisery so complete there\u2019s no light
\nHopeless, falling forever
\nLonging for a knife<\/p>\n
Then a switch is flipped and I\u2019m fine
\nNow a new emotion is center stage
\nAnger, frustration, elation, distraction
\nSpin a wheel, what comes next?<\/p>\n
Up so high, energy abound
\nSelf control a thing of the past
\nMind jumping from thought to thought
\nSleep a foreign idea<\/p>\n
Irritation and exasperation
\nNothing is okay
\nVoices grate down my spine
\nJust shut up!<\/p>\n
This thing pains my days, my life
\nBringing frustration and agitation,
\nBut also feeling to every moment
\nFeelings that I\u2019m afraid to do without<\/p>\n
Memories of medication after medication
\nTaking away my self, my center
\nBecoming an automation
\nJust going through the motions<\/p>\n
Fearing what to do next
\nOne option seems as bad as the next
\nCan\u2019t think, can\u2019t concentrate
\nHow can I thrive?
\nNo\u2026
\nJust survive?<\/p>\n
