I read a marvelous book last week, The Cave, by Jose Saramago. Translated from Portugese. Awesome. You should get it and read it. I also watched an excellent movie, The Lives of Others. German with English subtitles. These two pieces of art are similar in theme: the overbearing oppression of a controlled state. I find it interesting that when I express some deep struggles and questions, people want me to take a rest. I don’t deny that I might need a rest.
