This is a sculpture I did a while ago which is still in my possession. It is Brazilian soapstone on a walnut and brass bass. It\u2019s about the size of an adult hand. It is called \u201crecept<\/strong>\u201c.<\/p>\n

My heart has been full of emotion lately. So much so that sometimes I feel it is in danger of bursting. I\u2019m feeling an overwhelming sense of gratitude. I feel like I\u2019ve been given another lease on life. I\u2019ve been through an incredible inner ordeal for the past long while\u2026 truly a trial in the desert. But for some reason, mercy was shown to me, grace was extended, and I was awakened from my slumber, I was raised from my death. Without looking for it, asking for it, or even being aware that I needed it, I was given new life.<\/p>\n

So I am thankful. Even for what it took to get here.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
