Only the rare person can tread this precarious path alone. Most people need companions or mentors. I say, \u201creal or written<\/em>\u201c\u2026 real living face to face people or some good books written by others who have walked the path and documented it. I suggest to read a book that\u2019s over their head\u2026 treat it like a letter from the next passage that can give you guidance and courage, as well as confidence that you are not going crazy or foul.<\/p>\n

The fellow in the cartoon has heard of the dangers of the Cloud of Unknowing<\/strong>, a Christian classic still rejected by many as too mystical, so he\u2019s not going in there. He doesn\u2019t realize that the book is best written for those entering it or in it, not for those who have no interest or intention.<\/p>\n
