I was talking with an acquaintance today who is gay. I was telling him about my upcoming weekend in Dallas, speaking at Northaven United Methodist Church in Dallas Texas<\/a>. He was asking me why I was going there. I said it was because of my blog. He said, \u201cYou\u2019re a blogger? What\u2019s your blog?<\/em>\u201d I said, \u201cNakedpastor!<\/em>\u201d He exclaimed, \u201cYou\u2019re him<\/strong>?<\/em>\u201d I laughed because it struck me so funny because we\u2019ve known each other so long and I never brought it up. I\u2019m my own worst promoter!<\/p>\n

Ya, I\u2019m \u201chim\u201d! Funny. The two things I get most flack over on this blog is:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. my z-theory<\/a>; and<\/li>\n
  2. my position on homosexuality<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The common denominator in these two controversial topics is that they are both\u00a0universal<\/strong> and inclusive <\/strong>in substance.<\/p>\n

    My gay friend reminded me of what Mother Teresa said, \u201cIf you judge people, you have no time to love them.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n

    My take on the gospel accounts of Jesus is that he was so rejected because of his universality<\/em> and his inclusivity<\/em>. It was the provincial exclusivists that terminated him.<\/p>\n
